Ryan Bowers

Chief Executive Officer

Ryan Bowers is the President and CEO of The Peak Group, a vertically integrated real estate investment firm with operations in Dallas–Fort Worth and Birmingham, AL. Under his leadership, The Peak Group has grown beyond its single-family rental roots, now developing build-for-rent communities, managing properties through Peak Property Management, and handling residential, commercial, and land development projects through Peak Construction Group.

Since co-founding The Peak Group, Ryan has led the expansion of its portfolio to over 2,000 homes across the Southeast. With two decades of entrepreneurial leadership experience, he’s passionate about using real estate as a tool to build lasting wealth.

Ryan holds a B.A. in Business Management from Whitworth University. When he’s not focused on real estate, he enjoys sports and raising three children with his wife.

Todd Bowers

Chief Construction Officer

Todd Bowers is the Co-Founder and Chief Construction Officer of The Peak Group. With a background as a successful general contractor and entrepreneur, Todd leads Peak Construction Group, the firm’s construction and development arm specializing in single-family, build-for-rent, commercial, and land development projects.

Known for turning vision into reality, Todd helps investors bring projects to life, streamlining the construction process with technology and hands-on expertise. His leadership empowers clients to manage builds confidently without relying on multiple outside contractors.

Todd has been married for 27 years and is a proud father of four and grandfather of two (and counting). He enjoys golfing, skiing, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Alex Merrill

Chief Accounting Officer

Alex Merrill is the Chief Accounting Officer at The Peak Group, where he leads financial accounting, construction accounting, reporting, tax strategy, and banking relations across all Peak entities, including investment, property management, and construction operations.

Alex joined The Peak Group in 2023, bringing over 30 years of experience in residential real estate accounting. Prior to Peak, he served as Chief Accounting Officer at Thomas James Homes and spent six years as Director of Accounting at Brookfield Residential, overseeing financial reporting for construction and land development. His career began in Ernst & Young’s real estate group, serving homebuilder clients.

Alex is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a B.A. in Business Administration from California State University, Fullerton.

Trine Owen

New Construction Manager

Trine Owen is the Construction Manager at The Peak Group, where he oversees all aspects of residential and commercial construction, from ground-up development to remodels and tenant finish-outs. He manages project planning, execution, quality control, and team coordination to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery across Peak’s diverse portfolio.

With over 30 years of experience in development and construction, Trine has successfully completed more than 1,000 projects, ranging from high-end custom homes to starter homes, large-scale commercial builds, remodels, and tenant improvements. His work spans multiple states, including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and California, giving him broad regional expertise and adaptability to varied market demands.

Trine joined The Peak Group with a proven track record of excellence and a reputation for attention to detail, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency. He holds a degree from Abilene Christian University, where he graduated in 1996.
