Progress Continues at peakFLX Browning in North Richland Hills

Construction continues to move forward at peakFLX Browning, a new flex space development located in North Richland Hills, Texas. This week marks a major milestone for the project as the first building slab has officially been poured, signaling the completion of the foundation phase for Building 1. With two buildings planned on-site, the project is progressing in a phased approach, allowing construction to stay efficient while maintaining flexibility for future expansion.

What Went Into the Slab Pour?

Before concrete could be placed, crews completed several critical pre-pour steps that ensure long-term durability and performance:

  • Final site grading and elevation adjustments

  • Formwork installation to define slab dimensions

  • Underground plumbing rough-ins

  • Placement of rebar reinforcement for structural integrity

With these elements in place, concrete was poured and is now curing, allowing the slab to reach its designed strength before vertical construction begins.

This phase is foundational—literally and strategically—setting the tone for the remainder of the build.

What’s Next: Vertical Construction Begins

Once curing is complete, the project will transition into:

Building 1

  • Structural steel erection

  • Vertical framing and shell construction

  • Continued coordination of utilities and site logistics

Building 2

  • Ongoing site preparation

  • Planning for future foundation and vertical phases

This phased approach helps control costs, manage timelines, and keep the development adaptable to market demand.
